NOTE TO STUDENTS: Due to the very large number of requests for student work from which we never get the slightest return (results, impact etc.) we would like to clarify that:
1) We are happy to support the work of the students concerned (trans and/or intersex), as long as it is not pathological or sensationalist.
2) For others :
We are neither subjects of study nor phenomena of society.
– We do not have a vocation to make your education free: inform yourself (> wikitrans).
– We will no longer respond to “calls for testimony”, work releases or education requests. We do not minimize the importance of pedagogy, only we do not have time to devote ourselves to it and give priority to the people concerned.
– If you don’t know anything about the subject, we invite you to work on a topic for which your ignorance will not have a negative and damaging impact on discriminated populations.
We can nevertheless accept :
– Reread your questionnaires/calls to correct them, provided that you modify them accordingly (we will not distribute any questionnaire or call for interviews that would contain transphobic, awkward, inappropriate wording or comments).
– Direct you to resources.
– Disseminate your questionnaires and calls if they can directly benefit the people concerned (especially for health issues), and on condition that you are kept informed of the results.
We are volunteers, so a small donation to support the association in return could be a good idea 😉
